About

The Blue Light Education Collaborative was formed in 2021, and aims to offer high quality education resources about the emergency services that are both educationally relevant and interesting. Profits from the sale of our resources is reinvested in to development of new materials and resources and the Collaborative is also supporting a number of charities.

The team founding the Collaborative have educational experience in a number of settings as well as years of experience working in the NHS ambulance service. They are acutely aware of the lack of resources available to interest and educate people about the emergency services. The purpose of establishing the Blue Light Education Collaborative is to create materials that can be read for general interest, used by emergency services staff for engagement visits, or even used by school teaching staff as a tool to meet curriculum needs in an innovative way. The Collaborative brings together talented authors who have an interest in the emergency services.

There are three types of resources: curriculum resources, discovery resources and resources for fun.

Many thousands of ambulance staff visit schools each year to talk about the service and their roles. Up to now there has been very few resources available to support them. We want to redress this and many of the resources available will help make the most of these visits. We have also included some free to download resources that will provide additional support.

We are constantly working to expand our range of resources and our products page is regularly updated with exciting new items, please keep checking back or follow our Twitter feed for announcements. The link is @bluelightED_org.

We thank you for taking the time to visit our site and we hope you thoroughly enjoy our resources.
